Brand New Album "The Answer's Not Enough" available now! Also Steve Morse

Singer songwriter Flynn, the co-founder of legendary Boston band Cliffs of Dooneen returns with his fourth solo album The Answer's Not Enough

Breaking with tradition, Flynn is joined by his good friends and fellow Boston song writers Ellis Paul and Antje Duvekot. After producing "American Jukebox Fables" (Rounder-Philo) for his longtime friend Ellis Paul they continued writing together which led to several tracks on both Flynn's new record and Ellis' records. Antje Duvekot who is one of the fastest rising stars in the folk world has used Flynn both as a producer and co-writer. Antje co-wrote two of the songs and sings a stunning duet with him on the track "Breathless".

Flynn took three years to complete this album. He said "This was one of the most difficult and constantly evolving albums I've made to date". Flynn's demanding schedule which includes writing and recording projects for various film, TV and CD projects has kept him in the studio constantly. Flynn considers this his most personal album to date. "I am really delighted with the way it came out, and the collaborations with Ellis and Antje are something I really embraced."

Flynn's profile of projects includes the title track (Lost Child) to The Legend Of Lucy keyes, a feature film starring Julie Delpy and Justin Theroux. He also wrote the title track (Human) to the Farrelly Brothers hit Stuck On You which was recorded by Cher, with the help of Flynn. His dossier also includes several film documentaries covering everything from world skiing champion Bode Miller to Harvard University to the plight of the Whale. The demands of Flynn's composing career paid dividends this year with an Emmy nomination for composing the theme of the NESN hockey reality show Be A Bruin.

The "Answer's Not Enough" is Flynn's fourth solo record. Flynn originally from Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.

FLYNN at Club Passim: The singular-named Flynn has quietly amassed a strong career as an adult-minded singer-songwriter. His songs are full of subtle emotions and revelations. He has just put out his fourth record and celebrated it with this Passim show, a transporting night of music helped by guests Ellis Paul and Antje Duvekot, not to mention an incredibly sharp backup band anchored by bassist Richard Gates (who also plays with Suzanne Vega) and drummer John Sands, who tours with Aimee Mann. Some of Flynn's songs fall into a strummy pop-folk realm, but his open-hearted delivery always seems to win the day. And his cover of the Beatles' "Let It Be'' with Ellis Paul was absolutely sublime.
