After decades in the radio business, former WBCN program director Oedipus has plenty of musical knowledge. Oedipus spent 23 years at WBCN in Boston as program director. He continued to serve as VP of alternative programing of CBS Radio and is one of the most respected music minds in the country.
Now he's combining that experience with Boston songwriter Flynn, with some musings on death to create a much talked about new musical titled "Dark Daylight."
Edward Hyson, better known in Boston as Oedipus, has been working with Houston based writer John Keiser and Irish musician Flynn on the project. The writing of the script is complete and is now in the hands of Brighton-based musician Flynn ( www.FlynnMusic.com)
Flynn, a transplant from Ireland , said he's finished about two-thirds of the composing so far. The music 'could run the gamut here of just about anything from 'The Ramones' to 'Fleetwood Mac. Flynn's past credits include providing music and collaborating with Cher, for the blockbuster film "Stuck On You" as well as countless TV shows, documentaries, commercials and movies.
